Lemon Soup, the rookie artists, who are inspired by their passion for Britpop & College, performs in very attractive college sounds.
Lemon Soup was established in 2003 at the Chulalongkorn University when two students of the Architectural School (Build and Jak) met each other. With combination of Brit Rock from Jak and International pop melodies from Build, they called their first band "Cheesecake Mania". Along with another band member (in memory of their friends), they published their first single called "A Day for You and Me” featuring Giggy Fish and Cyndi Seui in "A day Album 4". It is an international pop with sweet melodies and arrangement.
In 2005 they decided to change their performance and music style into Brit Rock. Luckily they found two junior Architectural students in the same department (Guy and Jai), who are the last two pieces in the jigsaw of Lemon Soup. They make a great rhythmic section of the band. The first demo of Lemon Soup is “Ong Pra Korb”. Everybody wrote and arranged this song and approached P'Rungroch, the producer of Smallroom Records. He permitted them to do the album "Ong Pra Korb" and changed the band's name from "Cheesecake Mania" to "Lemon Soup". The album was released in 2006. Their style is simple but touching... This is a kind of soup that you must try!!
