ITTA

‘itta’ is a Korean word, meaning ‘exist’.

“I’m talking about my relationship with my music.” I and I / I and when / I and what / I and where / I and who / when and who / what and where / … and / you and I.

itta plays toys and miniature instruments; piano, organ, keyboards, her voice. She writes poems that can be songs, and sometimes, she does some artwork for her album and has her own exhibition.

itta’s keyword is relationship, so she works with many musicians and artists for art, mime, play, movie, etc. She plays once or twice a week wherever she can play; clubs, festivals. She has had gigs in other nations since July 2005 such as Japan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. She even formed the unit “10” with Japanese noise artist, Marqido. 10 did the Asian Tour gig in March – June 2006 in Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore (18 cities, 34 gigs). They are making new albums and preparing for another meeting.

itta is a solo project. She started making her own music in 1995. In 1997, she made her first demo tape and gave them to her friends and in the same year, she started playing gigs on her own. Her first EP album entitled “I… exist” was released in 2002. She has even made soundtracks for some short indie films.
