ABOUT THE BAND:
Lochness was formed by Ced Concepcion, the frontman of “Ursaminor” in early 2009. In need of a drummer he began to contact Percy Santos of “Geek City Riot” and instantly accepted the offer. They asked Gene Quilatan a student from Mapua University to play the bass, along the way they ran into an old friend/bandmate, Jm Naceno who was the guitar player of "Ursaminor" and he offered his guitar prowness. Finally, Tim Gesilva a University of the Philippines music major who they met in a gig one night asked them if he could join "Lochness", the band said yes. That was how the band was formed.

Lochness tries to incorporate 3 guitar layers with a touch of synth and steady basslines with dynamic drum lines along with a fresh new take on grunge/alternative music, paying hommage to their respecteive 90's influences.

INFLUENCES:
NIRVANA, SMASHING PUMPKINS, PIXIES, FOO FIGHTERS, TEETH, MAYONNAISE, MY VITRIOL, DINOSAUR JR AND THE 90'S ERA.
